"If you adults won't do something about global climate change, then we kids are going to take the reins"
- Shannon McComb, 13-year-old American environmental activist

Climate Change. You certainly must have heard of this phrase. In school. On TV. At Home. And certainly, you must have wondered – What exactly is this Climate Change? Does it affect me? Why should I care?
The answer is, whether you come from a village in the Everest area or a fishing community in Bangladesh or a cosmopolitan mega-city like New York – all of you, each and every one of you, are going to be affected by the disastrous impacts of Climate Change.
For years, humanity has misused the precious gifts of Mother Nature- carelessly squandering our planet’s resources. And now you, as part of
the younger generation, will bear the consequences of this phenomenon, towards which you have contributed very little.
This is why you should care. Because, a safe and clean climate is not a grant to you by the past generations - it is your RIGHT.
It is time that the youth of this world rise as one and demand that your right to a safe climate is ensured.
Climate for My Life, a part of the CLIMATE FOR LIFE campaign aims to bring the youth together so that their voices are heard, on issues relating to Climate Change impacts, such as the ones being manifested in the Himalayas and Nepal.
Let us move towards being a CLIMATE SMART generation.
