Fighting climate change one revolution at a time.
27 July 2009 (Onwards)
Cycle for change is all about educating, connecting, inspiring and helping people like you to become more involved in the fight against climate change.

It’s also about adventure, action, and change and we would love for you to become involved. By riding their bicycles through some of the regions that are already feeling the effects of climate change Gavin Dixon and Eri Hirose aim to show you that this thing is real and coming to a town or city near you. We believe that the time to not care or act has long past and want to inspire and show you ways to act in the face of the biggest challenge we will all face in our lifetime.

Throughout the northern summer of 2009 Gavin and Eri will ride from Nepal to Bangladesh via northern India visiting, NGO’s, local communities, scientific research groups and others to highlight the effects of climate change on the region and connect them with the challenges that we will all face in the near future.

Nepal, India and Bangladesh are uniquely placed to highlight the extremes of climate change on a huge variety of environments ranging from the glacial regions of the Himalaya to the massive river delta and coastal areas of Bangladesh. There are so many different ways that climate change affects people depending on where they live and we want to show you that this is something that affects us and the generations that will follow and we need to act now to change the way we behave and interact with the environment.
